We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: 2010 is the year of the overall. But don’t just take our word for it; both Vogue and Glamour are touting the trend. Well, touting may be a strong word. Says Glamour‘s fashion blog:
When overalls popped up at a few spring 2010 shows, I kinda hoped they wouldn’t make it off the runway. Apparently you can’t will a trend away by just ignoring it.
Not when 2010 is the year of the overall, you can’t!
Vogue is more sympathetic, featuring Jessica Biel in a good, old-fashioned pair of bibbs (none of this silk nonsense) in its February issue:
Biel’s Vogue overalls are Ralph Lauren, but they look awfully similar to the pair I picked up at the Salvation Army for about $4.

yes, I’m on facebook, are you there ? and is it possible to do it already in the afternoon at 3pm ? since I’m going to opera in BAM theatre on the evening of 23rd, if it has to be in evening I might do it on March 18 ! (in between I’m in Texas !:)
